March 31, 2013

Happy Easter! We celebrated Easter at our home again this year. We had Kinley's grandpa, Mima, GG, and Aunt Peggy join us and we had a great dinner. Kinley enjoyed rummaging through her Easter basket much more this year.

Kinley looked so pretty in her beautiful dress that Mima bought her. And her favorite toy of the day was the wind-up chicky.

March 20-26, 2013

We took our first family vacation to Puerto Rico for a few days. It was great to escape the northeast cold (this winter is seriously dragging on!) and spend some time in the sun. I hadn't been feeling great due to my pregnancy and the sun and relaxation was just what I needed!

We stayed at the Gran Melia in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico which was a great, family friendly resort. Kinley had so much fun playing in the kiddie pool and making friends all week. She also slept like a rock-star at night.....thank you sun! :)

One Year's Old! It's hard to believe that one year ago we were blessed with our "little peanut". She has brought so much joy, love, and laughter to our lives. Kinley is so loved and was surrounded by all of her family and friends for her first birthday. We had a wonderful party for her (which we will remind her about for year's to come!). Here are a few pics from her birthday weekend.

We were also able to surprise our family and friends at Kinley's first birthday party with some very exciting news.....Kinley is going to be a big sister!! We are expecting our second child, due September 15th, 2013. 2013 is shaping up to be a very eventful year for the LeBlanc family and we couldn't be happier!

February 7-9, 2013

Kinley turned 11 months. We can't believe she will be a year in just a few weeks! She is starting to take a few steps on her own, so it won't be long before she is walking.

On February 8-9th we got hit with over 2 feet of snow in West Hartford. Here are a few pictures:

January 22-30th, 2013

This has been a loooong winter, especially with a 10 month old! We've been trying to stay busy though. Here is a picture of the little miss discovering the stairs....We are in trouble now!

We are also trying to teach Kinley how to pitch in around the house. She was helping Matt fold his laundry the other night.

Finally, we have to have some fun. Below is Kinley and her good friend, Hadley; enjoying some lunch at Chipolte in the Center. Hadley is just 2 months younger than Kinley.

December 26 - January 1, 2013

What a great holiday week it has been. Followed by a wonderful Christmas, Kinley's aunt Jess came to visit. She got her some wonderful gifts and they got to spend some quality time together.

Aunt Jess's trip was followed by a visit from Nana. Here is Kinley wearing the Mrs. Claus or Santa outfit that she bought for her.

Matt may be right and Kinley may be a little superstar. She is already playing music and singing her own songs!

Finally, Kinley woke up this morning on the last day of Nana's visit and decided to wear her adorable reindeer slippers that her Great Aunt Coleen bought for her while reading her new book. Aren't they the cutest?

Happy New Year everyone! We couldn't have asked for a better 2012 and can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for us.

Merry Christmas! This is by far our most special christmas so far. We had such an amazing day with Kinley. We spent the morning at home opening gifts and then went down to NJ where we were able to spend some time at Grandpa's house, Aunt Carol's house and Auntie I's house. Kinley was spent after such a long day of visiting with family but it was the perfect way to spend her first Christmas.

She really loved her new rocking horse that was waiting at Grandpa's for her.

9 months old today! We can hardly believe it. Kinley is changing so much and her personality is really starting to show. She likes to sing and yell (likes to be heard, just like her dad! :) ) and she is generally really happy. I think we were able to capture some of her great personality in this month's birthday pictures...

Kinley is offically crawling! The proper way - butt up and all - no more military style. She has also figured out how to raiser herself up on things....the coffee table, the sofa, oh yes, and in her crib. This is how I found her after her nap this morning!

November 22 - December 1, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving!! Kinley took her first plan ride this morning and her first trip out to Arizona. Even though she was suffering with her first ear infection she was very good for this long day of traveling. She was so excited to get to Nana's and be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner with all of us.

We had so much fun while we were there. Matt and I even got to take off for two days to go visit some friends in San Diego. It was such a nice little getaway and San Diego was beautiful.

Kinley enjoyed her time with Nana while we were away and really soaked up the Arizona weather!

Nana thought it would be funny to dress Kinley up in one of her craft fair "finds"! Look at our little prairie girl!!

Finally, it wouldn't be a trip to Arizona without a craft fair visit! Here is Kinley and Nana enjoying some of the entertainment at the biggest craft fair in the world (at least it seemed that way to me :) )
