October 31, 2012

Happy Halloween!!  We are so saddened by the devastation that Hurricane Sandy caused the East Coast, especially our beloved Jersey.  We are so thankful that we were not hit too hard and that all of our friends and family are okay.  A plus of the bad weather was that cousin John came to stay with us for two nights.

NJ is not celebrating Halloween until Monday, but it was business as usual in West Hartford.  We obviously did not take Kinley trick or treating but she got dressed up to stop by daddy's office and to hand out candy to our trick or treaters.

This past weekend we took part in the West Hartford Halloween stroll with our friends the Boyle's and the Taylor's.

Isn't she the cutest little Zebra you've ever seen??

Allie (pumpkin), Kinley (zebra) and Hadley (halloween clothing) hanging out in the leaves!  Watch out West Hartford - these 3 will be a forced to be reckoned with.

Kinley is now on the move!!  She is still practicing the "lazy man's" crawl as I like to call it - all arms, no legs!  But she can certainly get to and IN-to whatever she wants.  It is so much fun watching her experience all these things for the first time.

She is also really starting to show her personality.  I think I am going to have my hands full!!

We had a great family day at Lyman Orchards today though.  The weather was perfect for pumpkin picking!  We picked a pumpkin and had lunch at the gourmet shop.  Here are a few of the pictures from the day:

Nana is here!  Nancy came to visit for a long weekend.  We all had a great time.  Matt and I had Matt Creamer's wedding up in Boston on Friday so Kinley stayed at home with Nana.  And as a bonus, Aunt Gayle came down from Massachusetts to keep them company while Matt and I were away! Kinley was spoiled with tons of new clothes, toys and of course Nana's love!

Here is Kinley (and Nana) being silly with Nana's glasses on -
She looks so smart already!!

Here is a great picture of Kinley and Nana hanging out -

Finally, a picture of Kinley modeling her adorable new winter hat that we bought on (one of) our trips to Babies R' Us this weekend!

7 Months Old today!  Unfortunatley; we didn't get a picture with the "sign" today so this picture below will have to suffice.  All the Giant's fans out there, this is the payback.....Kinley is rocking her adorable G-MEN bib that was given to her by Al and George.

September 22-23, 2012

We spent this past weekend up at the Swift's Cape house with Sean, Lauren, Tim and Jean.  We had a great time relaxing, shopping (the girls), golfing (the guys) and eating.  Saturday was a bit cloudy so while the boys golfed the girls spent the afternoon in Chatham shopping and having lunch.  When we got back to the house it was so nice that we were able to relax on the beach for a bit before a great seafood dinner.  We had lots of laughs, drinks and fun!

Here is Uncle Tim and Kinley being silly -

And a great picture of Ms. Kinley taken by Aunt Lauren -

This month has been flying by.  Last weekend we spend the weekend in NJ celebrating Kirsten and the Birch's birthday.  Matt and I got to spend the night with Sean and Lauren while Kinley stayed with Grandpa.

Today Kinley decided she was going to feed herself a cracker.  It still amazes me how much she changes and learns with each day that passes.  Here is the video of her eating her cracker....lots of "mmmm's"!

Yesterday was Matt's cousin Brian's wedding in the Berkshires.  The wedding was beautiful and so much fun.  Today, we were lucky to have Kinley's Papa and Godfather - Uncle Mark come visit and watch the Patriots game.  Kinley had so much fun with her visitors.  It was especially great to see Uncle Mark as he flew in from Arizona!

Today Kinley was a Pat's cheerleader (don't worry Giant's fans....there's plenty of football left!)
